Lilac Nails

I have jumped on the bandwagon of the lilac nails... I thought I could have resisted it but alas I can't. I went for an inexpensive option however, I chose to purchase the essence brand nail polish in "No More Drama". This had a very even application and only took two coats to get my desired color payoff. It is a smaller bottle but for the price of 99 cents you can't beat it. The line has a wide range of colors which I will most likely start collecting. The polish dries fast which is a plus but the brush and handle are kinda small, that's the only disadvantage I can find. This is just a first impression and I will post soon in the staying power and chipping after a few days.

Revlon Nails: A Review.

So i wore my Revlon nails for 4 days... and they suck. The nails reshaped themselves and became a strange oval shape over time. The pretty tip design that I purchased them for began to chip away after a day or two. I was just really disappointed with the quality because although i got mine on clearance for $3.99 they are originally $7.99, this would be much more of a disappointment if i had paid full price. There are many choices out there for false nails and you can buy much better quality.

My new set...

I changed up my nails today and just wanted to share the new style.... i am not sure how much i like the revlon brand nails.. they are a little soft and bendable... a better review after 7 days.

Fake Nails...

I am a fake nail addict... I'll admit it. I have had many different kinds of fakes... acrylics, gels, pink and whites,stick ons, press ons... u name it I have tried it. I am on a new fake nail kick... drugstore press ons... I recently took my beloved acrylics off because I am a poor college student and the $25 every two weeks is just too much. Drugstore nails are only $5 a package and they last 7 to 10 days... so if you do the math thats $20 a month versus $50. You can choose from many different styles and colors and you can even paint them. The drugstore nails no longer look so fake and look a lot more like acrylics than ever before!

Celebrity Look a Like...

I am taking a stage makeup course at the college I attend and we have just been assigned the task of doing a celebrity look-a-like ... the person has to have been famous before the 1960's. I chose Ann Miller to be my inspiration. I will need to do quite a few changes but I think overall it will come out to look like a 1940's era look... I get to expiriment with lashes which will be fun! So my question to everyone out there in blog land is what celebrity would you do if you were assigned the same assignment??

Lady Gaga Lipstick!

So as many of you know Lady GaGa has a new lipstick out with MAC Viva Glam. The great thing about this lipstick is not only is it beautiful but all of it's proceeds go to help the Viva Glam charity with special emphasis on women. Yay Viva Glam! SO besides the great cause it supports it is an amazing color. It is a bubble gum pink with the prettiest sheen to it. The finish is a lustre and it just glides beautifully. the only tip that I do have for application is that you put a lip balm on before hand. This helps the lipstick glide on smoother and keeps it from sticking to any fine lines you might have on your lips. But overall I think it is a great lipstick and is a necessity to have in your collection. But you might want to hurry I think this is going to go fast!

Project 10 Pan begins!!!

ok, so i have decided that it is time to start project 10 pan. I am hoping i can go through with it and keep to the plan. Another beauty blogger lollipop26 has inspired me to do this because my collection is getting out of control. Also have you seen the upcoming MAC collections.... I must make room for the new goodies!!! I think the first product will be a foundation or a lip gloss.... I seem to go through them fastest. I am hoping this will be the first series on posts that I keep up with...
